This video, found by a fellow aviation nut friend of mine, is a must watch. The one two punch of the Night Stalkers’ AH-60 Direct Action Penetrators and AH-6 Little Birds is just intense to say the least. Notice the bright laser spot being fired by the JTAC (Joint Terminal Attack Controller) to positively ID the target for the helicopter crews and the laser spot being fired by the helicopter right before weapons release, which is probably for laser range finding so that the chopper crews can get an accurate weapons solution before prosecuting their target.
