    Interesting design proportions and just how much play appears in the tail section when that big bird touched down. I’d be watching for stress fatigue early in its life.

    I agree with Dan’s comment above. The occilations seen in the tail structure upon touchdown are worrisome.

    Wonder what the mean time between overhauls are on the engines on this Chinese cargo plane? Understand China is still using Russian engines too. Just how Western companies wake up and don’t see the goods to China and help them catchup (I’m looking at you Boeing and Airbus)!

    They will probably buy the motors from Russia until they can copy enough of the tech to build their own, which they are already working on.

    Talked to a buddy of mine who is an aerospace engineer, he said its no big deal if it was designed to do so, flutter is a bigger issue.

    Looks like a cross between a C-141 and a C-17. Got to give China credit, they are catching up fast.
